Bart tries something new this month and shares his thoughts, feelings, and opinions on three photographic topics raised on other podcasts. Recent episodes of Shutter Time with Sid & Mac have asked whether or not we are called to photograph, and whether or not we should actively work to develop a photographic style, while Antonio Rosario raised questions about the potential problems with AI on the Switch to Manual podcast.

I’d love to see the graveyard series. For my own shots, I wouldn’t go so far as to call them anything more than snapshots, but I guess I also like to do whatever I’m passionate about (no calling to photography here): Cats, mechanical watches & clocks, architecture, parks and gardens in my area, among other things. Except one time when I discovered a 1940s box camera it became a lot more technical, getting 120 film (the negatives are huge!) and a lab that still develops this kind of film.
